1. Orpington Tenancy

All vehicle rentals from Orpington are governed by a Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out the terms, conditions, insurance information, fees, and your responsibilities for the rental. If there's any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence for that rental.

2. Orpington Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Orpington, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age requirements may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, together with any required insurance documentation, when collecting the vehicle at the Orpington location.

3. Orpington Booking and Payment

  • Bookings are accepted online, by phone, or in person at our Orpington office. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and any security deposit are usually payable when the vehicle is collected. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Orpington Vehicle Collection and Return

  • At collection you must inspect the vehicle carefully and report any existing damage to Orpington immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed at handover by you and an Orpington representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as at collection, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be assessed and charged to you.

5. Insurance and Liability — Orpington

  • Orpington includes basic third-party insurance with all rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the amount specified in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies for Orpington bookings vary by booking type and notice period. Please refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for exact terms. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.

7. Orpington Prohibitions

You must not use a vehicle rented from Orpington for:

  • Any illegal purpose or activity involving an Orpington vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities with an Orpington vehicle. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials in an Orpington vehicle. Sub-letting Orpington vehicles to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Driving an Orpington vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which an Orpington vehicle is not intended...

Violating Orpington rules may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Orpington Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Orpington Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total charges you paid for the relevant booking.

9. Governing Law (Orpington)

These Terms relating to Orpington are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Updates to Orpington Terms

Orpington may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect immediately upon posting on the Orpington website. Your continued use of Orpington services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
